We are located in the Columbia Valley, along the Columbia River, south of Golden and north of Radium. We are a two hour, one-way drive away from Banff.
If You’re Driving
If your are coming from the West (Vancouver/Kamloops/Revelstoke via Highway One)
- turn south at Golden onto Highway 95.
If you are coming from the East (Calgary/Banff via Highway One), you can either
- Turn south at Castle Junction onto Highway 93, and come north again at Radium on Highway 95, or
- Keep going west through the Kicking Horse Pass, until you get to Golden, and then turn south on Highway 95
If you are coming from the South (Cranbrook via Highway 93)
- keep driving north until you pass through the city of Invermere, then village of Radium, then the hamlet of Brisco, and then the township of Spillimacheen

Be Aware
Mountain Driving
We are between the Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges. To get to us you will probably need to drive through a high mountain pass or two.
If you can, plan to drive during the day. It’s a beautiful drive, enjoy the scenery!
Watch for critters. They’re especially active at dusk and dawn, and in the spring (foaling) and the fall (rutting season). A high-speed intersection with a deer or elk is not desirable.
Keep an eye on the weather. It can, and does, occasionally snow up there. Even in July.
Westside Road
Avoid Westside Road, especially after dark or bad weather, unless you are deliberately heading up into the mountains for hiking, rock-climbing, or trout fishing. We’ve had one or two guests arrive by that route, and although it ends right outside our front gate, we do NOT recommend it for getting around.
It is a dirt road, sparsely maintained with many blind corners, wildlife, sometimes single track, with the occasional logging truck thrown in. Best to stick to the highway if you can.
